Meijers likes to work with a select group of intermediaries in the Netherlands that want to serve their clients even more broadly with solid and high-quality services. These are local parties who need a partner to transfer their customers' more complex risks to insurers. Who are looking for access to specific knowledge and purchasing power.

We believe in the model of investing in scale and continuity together with driven intermediaries across the board. These local heroes have often been closely involved in advising and developing their customers for years. But at some point they need additional expert knowledge and purchasing power. Meijers can provide that. Customers are better off because a whole new range of (purchasing) opportunities opens up.

In my career, I quickly learned that creating mutual trust leads to partnership. Working together with the intermediary is something I enjoy doing because of this. I therefore like to sink my teeth into conveying Meijers' services to an intermediary. If local heroes make the strategic choice to (continue to) support the larger and more complex companies with optimal insurance products and advice, we offer an optimal proposition for this.

I enjoy intensive cooperation with intermediaries so that they can serve their customers in the best possible way. It is a challenge to think along in large and complex cases and to come up with new insights precisely then. That is when our experience and expertise come in handy.

The first business I did with an intermediary was about 15 years ago. We started this because we shared the same ambition. Getting excellent insurance for customers. Thus that goes together very well. Now we want to further expand our practice intermediaries, we see a future here. These local heroes have personal warm entrances to their customers and we help them with complex matters they would not otherwise do. That's how we strengthen each other.

What really makes me happy? Solving problems that others cannot solve. At such a moment, it's nice to see that the customer is happy, but also the intermediary. That's what I do it for.
