In the 25 years that I have been in the insurance business I have always worked as an internal account manager. With my legal background, I really like to handle issues by in-depth exploration. I’m an all-round Account Manager and serve several housing cooperatives. I have regular conversations with controllers about their concerns. How can a corporation manage their risks? I have believed in performing inventory and analysis from day one in my long career as an insurance broker. It’s only then will you discover how a portfolio works. In 2010 I started setting up segments related to real estate at Meijers. Initially we started with the VvE (home owner’s association) practice and since a number of years we have successfully participated in the housing corporation area. Having arrived as one of the first, my colleagues and I ensure that Meijers takes charge of the claims process. The project must continue. Direction and decisiveness is essential. Our goal is always to optimize representation in the interests of the client – by knowing what the next key steps are, by knowing your file thoroughly and by having a substantive discussion with insurers and experts.
