What are your options in the event of an overdue payment?
-
Do you want to transfer the premium? Please use the details on the payment reminder.
-
Are you unable to pay immediately? Then contact our debtor management team.
Second reminder: collection costs
What if you do not pay within 14 days? Then you will receive a second reminder. You still have 5 days to pay.
What if you don't pay?
After two reminders, we pass on the outstanding payment to a collection agency. They take over the process, which leads to additional costs.
Need a payment plan?
If it is difficult to pay in one go, you can request a payment arrangement. You can do this through our debtor management department. Make sure we can collect the premium from your account, otherwise the arrangement will lapse.
Cover ceases to apply in the event of non-payment
If you do not pay the premium before the due date, the cover of your insurance will stop retroactively. This means that claims from the original due date will no longer be reimbursed. Once we receive the total overdue premium, you will be insured again from the following day.
Uninsured vehicle? Risk of a fine
If your motor vehicle is not insured, you risk a fine of hundreds of euros. The RDW, the Dutch vehicle authority, carries out checks on this.
Avoid late payments with direct debit
Direct debit prevents you from missing payments. Contact us to set this up free of charge.
