With a legal background and a specialisation in liability law, I work as a claims handler at Meijers. I have experience in handling TECH liability cases and am increasingly focusing on cyber damages. Meanwhile, I am also certified as a Cyber Insurance Specialist (CCIS).

In our increasingly digital world, cyber incidents are unfortunately becoming more common, and I am happy to dedicate myself to helping clients deal effectively with these complex claims. Whether it is a liability issue or a cyber incident, I am ready to help with practical solutions and expert advice.

I started my career in pensions and after 25 years in the insurance business, I now deal with the broad spectrum of employee benefits topics. From (sustainable) employability, own risk bearing and WIA supplement to sickness law services, health and safety services and pensions. For me, the diversity is the most fun there is, but at the same time a challenge for many companies. Because how do you keep an overview when everything is interrelated? My job is to make complex matters as simple as possible. The nice thing about Meijers is that we help you keep control and take work off your hands. Through a smart digital portal, for instance, where you arrange all your employee affairs.

In my 25 years of IT, nine were in cyber consultancy. I have asked myself whether you should insure cyber risks because prevention is always better than a cure. But if things do go wrong there is a standstill, and possible claims from third parties. The organization must then jump into action mode as soon as possible. Can you manage that damage yourself? Who do you need to call? What should you do? I believe in a complete solution: prevention, detection and response – supplemented with damage insurance and a team of First Response experts. If Meijers cannot offer the solution, then I would like to refer you to someone else. Transparency, commitment and expertise are essential in cooperation. We don't make it more attractive than it is.
