I began my career in pensions and, with over 25 years of experience in employee benefits, I’ve worked across almost every facet of the field—from absenteeism insurance, private risk coverage, and WIA supplements to disability services, pension communication, and pension plan design. What drives me is helping employers navigate this complex landscape and making it more manageable. With constant changes, it’s easy to lose oversight—so how do you stay in control? I enjoy translating complex topics into practical, actionable solutions that employers and HR professionals can truly use. My goal is to help organisations design employee benefits that align with both business goals and the real needs of their people. At Meijers, I work closely with clients to bring insight and structure to what often feels like a complex puzzle. I help identify key risks, set priorities, and turn complexity into clarity. My primary focus is on strategic advice regarding WGA and Sickness Benefits (ZW/ERD), though I find myself increasingly drawn to the pension side of our field as well.
